The story is the story of "Haj Mohammad Hasan Esfahani" nicknamed "Amin al-Zarb" and the narrator tells the last part of the story at first, the charge of black money was made and "Haji" paid a ransom to the king, and then he returns to the beginningg of the story and circumstances, times of the most prominent Iranian merchants.
The story describes iran's economy in 19th century.
